Privacy Policy
Last updated 2026-04-24. The short version: we collect email addresses from people who sign up for the newsletter, and we count pageviews with a cookieless analytics service. That's it.
Who we are

What we collect
If you sign up for the newsletter, we store your email address with Resend, our email service provider. We use it only to send you the newsletter you asked for.
If you don't sign up, we don't collect anything that identifies you personally.
Analytics
We use Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to count pageviews, see which articles people read, and monitor page performance. Both are cookieless, do not build individual profiles, and do not share data across sites. Metrics like country, device type, and referrer are collected in aggregate form only.
Server logs
Our host, Vercel, keeps short-lived server logs that include IP addresses and user-agent strings. These exist for security, abuse prevention, and debugging. They are not used for marketing and we do not combine them with the analytics above.
Cookies
We don't set marketing or tracking cookies. Your browser may cache static files to load the site faster; that's it.
How we use your email
Only to send the newsletter you signed up for. We don't sell it, rent it, or share it with advertisers. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link and we honor it immediately.
Data we store for ads
Zero. Sponsors pay for a slot; they don't get visitor data from us, because we don't have any to give.
Subprocessors
The third parties that touch any of your data on our behalf:
- Vercel— hosting, server logs, cookieless analytics, and speed insights.
- Resend— newsletter delivery and subscriber list storage (email address and any name you provide).
Your rights
If you're in a jurisdiction that grants you access, correction, deletion, or portability rights over your personal data (GDPR, CCPA, or similar), email hello@thebookedbrief.com and we'll handle it within 30 days.
Children
The Booked Brief is written for working adults and isn't directed at anyone under the age of 18. We don't knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe we have, contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change what we collect or who processes it on our behalf, we'll update this page and the “Last updated” date at the top. Material changes will be noted in the newsletter as well.
